This is another thing about Pokémon.
Not only can you fight with water Pokémon on land and with rock/ground Pokémon on water, you can also fight with a ginormous Pokémon like Onix or Wailord in places, that are way too small.
Yeah, the Pokémon world is full of mysteries...
